"TO CREATE IS TO LOVE AGAIN"
Vrindaji (Clare) Bowman is pleased to present this sampling of her art work which she has pursued for over thirty years. For her, to paint, to chant or write poems, is to open oneself to the creative joy of the Divine Source of us all. This is like learning to drive a car, while listening to the promptings of your teacher sitting near you. It demands complete attention on the present moment, which can be exciting, freeing, and a bit scary.

This inate wisdom of one's creative self, so easily expressed as a child, gets stifled by the facts we learn to accept as truths when growing into adults. Her creative art is an expression of her relationship with this Divine Source, God, in its unique manifestation at that moment . She hopes others are brought closer to their own relationship to the Divine through contact with her creativity, and that this joy and peace is available to us all.
Vrindaji's art has been shown in museums across the country, such as the Honolulu Academy of Art, Oakland Museum, Ca., Farnsworth Museum, Maine, Bowdoin Museum, Maine.
She has shown in commercial galleries and university galleries in San Francisco, Portland, Maine, Honolulu, St. Louis, and New York City. Her work is part of corporate collections, such as Transamerica Corporation, University of Maine, and private collections. She has taught in several U.S. universities and colleges , as well as teaching art to youth. Her education includes an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
